FAQ

  • Savor Studio welcomes students of all genders, and all ability levels, from brand new to advanced, who are 18 years old and over. We are located at 8537 Greenwood Ave N. Suite 101, between Verity Credit Union and The Baranoff. There is ample street parking and a paid lot on the southwest side of Verity. Parking can be a little tricky for evening and weekend night classes, please leave plenty of time to park just in case!

  • Classes start right on time, plan to arrive 10 minutes early, doors are locked at the class start time, and no one will be admitted into class after the class start time, for any reason. Please do not knock or try to get in if class has started. We know this is strict but we want to preserve the time allowed for classes and make space for other students to enjoy their class time uninterrupted. If you arrive late you will not be refunded for your class as it will count as a late cancellation.

  • What class should I take first? We recommend taking our Intoxicating Intro to Pole lass to start! You can also join our Tantalizing Twerk, Flexxx & a Conditioning classes, or Decadent Yoga classes right away!

What should I wear? For most of our classes we recommend wearing pants that are easy to move in (leggings, sweats) and shorts or bottoms of your choosing that allow you to access your skin. If you don’t want to have exposed skin you can invest in some sticky pole leggings. There are a lot of stick pole brands just search around for what is right for you! Wear a tank top or bra! We highly recommend bringing pole or dance knee pads to class! We like Queen Wear kneepads, they also sell them on other sites if you need them faster!

✨ Be sure to avoid wearing lotion or oils on your skin the days you come to the studio, or shower before you come. You won’t be able to stick on the pole!

✨ We ask that people of all genders cover their nipples in solidarity. This can be pasties or tape, or a top, whatever you want!

Am I Strong Enough? You don’t need to be to start! Our classes will help you build strength and stamina over time. Our intro pole classes are designed to meet you where you’re at, even if it’s been a long time since you’ve exercised.

Do I need dance experience? No! A lot of our dancers had zero dance experience prior to pole dance! We’re here to teach you 💋

Is it normal to be nervous? Yes!! We have all been nervous and might still be! Our community will welcome you with open arms and help you navigate the feels that come up!

  • Transferring from another studio? Feel free to sign up for classes that feel level appropriate for you based on our descriptions bellow.

    Choose Your Spice Level Explained

Here at Savor Studio we do levels a little differently! We like to rate our classes by spice level 🌶️ We have found that traditional leveling systems weren't working for us, so we decided to do it differently! We wanted to invite playfulness, a dash of ridiculousness (because we are a bit goofy here), and remove the judgment around levels. We want you to think about this like you’re turning up and down the heat/ spice level, as needed. Sometimes we all need to turn the heat up or down, regardless of where we are or how long we've been doing this, or adjust it when we are trying new skills we have never done before.

How Do I Pick My Level?

These levels say where you feel you are now/what you’re working on! We are self-leveling, meaning we let you pick what aligns with you, but you are welcome to reach out to us with questions or ask your instructor! If the majority of moves in a class are regularly coming easily and you’re feeling comfortable with them, time to turn up the heat. If you’re regularly finding the majority of the moves in a class really difficult and getting discouraged or frustrated, turn down the heat for a bit until you feel more confident! You also may be a 🌶️🌶️🌶️ level in pole dancing and a 🌶️ in heels, or spin pole, or inversions!

What if I am not feeling challenged in my current classes but I haven’t finished 6 or 10 classes that I need to move into a new level?

You are welcome to change levels if you’re not feeling challenged! If things are regularly coming to you easily, feel free to try the next level. This is true if your classes are feeling too hard, or if you’re feeling discouraged often as well! There is no shame in turning down the heat a little.

  • We enthusiastically support you in wearing whatever you feel the most comfortable in!

We have a lot of dancers that love thongs, g-string, tiny shorts, and monokinis, we just ask that all genders cover their nipples with something (that can even be pasties or tape)! We love butts here lol.
